Comparison Is The Death Of Joy

October 8

Recently, I stumbled upon this quote, and it immediately struck a chord with me.

How often have I found myself browsing my social media feeds with the result of feeling “not good enough”?

“All the others made it” was the message I received.

They lived the most amazing lives abroad, created seven-figure businesses, they had all the great cars, they had it all, and they looked so happy.

And then there was me, sitting in my bedroom, feeling I was the last sh*t on earth.

I came to the realization that constantly comparing myself to others was not conducive to creating the life I desired

The moment I stopped, I felt a weight lift off my shoulders, a sense of liberation.

Initially, it was a challenge, and I had to actively prevent myself from falling into the comparison trap.

Instead, I began to focus on my personal growth, my unique journey, and my own definition of success.

This shift in perspective was not just a change, it was a transformation. It empowered me to see myself in a new light, as a unique individual.

Now, I am working with outstanding leaders from all around the world.

They are high achievers and changing the world for the better.

Now, I am able to guide them from love and not from fear of not being good enough.

1 question for the Weekend

Where are you falling into the comparison trap?
